Scotland is a long, busy place if you let it be. Anyone with a fortnight and a hire car can fill it with castles, distilleries, and a bagpiper at sunset. Our work is the editing. Knowing which loch is worth the hour's drive, which restaurant has lost its way, which morning to do nothing at all.
